The International Conference "USUS 2012 - Tourism & Innovation" intends to mark the end of the setting up period of the Alentejo Tourism Observatory, a partnership project that has as main sponsor the Regional Tourism Authority of Alentejo, Beja and Portalegre Polytechnic Institutes, Évora University, as well as the Business Centers of this broad geographical region.

Sharing experiences is the main objective of this event, either at tourism observatories level, or innovative projects level, in the areas of environment, lodging, and other events in Portugal and abroad.
