Appropriate course to bologna process since 2006/2007

The area is part of the tourism offer of training the School of Technology and Management since the beginning of its operation (1995/1996). Since that time there has been an effort in order to adjust the course to the reality of the tourism sector, introducing courses closer to the needs of the labor market.

STUDENTS OF COURSE COLLABORATE IN TOURISM DAY CELEBRATIONS OF IPBEJA Like other years, was held on last November 9, 2012 to commemorate the day of the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, whose program was part of the inauguration of the new building of the School of Technology and Management. The celebrations this year told, upon request of the Office Imaging and Communication IPBeja, with the participation of a team with students from the 2nd and 3rd year of tourism, acting as hosts of events, one of the many aspects that this course enables . The team had the opportunity to develop functions as reception / monitoring of guests, room support before and during the conference, exhibition support that day was also opened at the Gallery "Beside" the IPBeja and support the opening of new building ESTIG of participating here in reception and monitoring of entities invited to visit the facilities. This was a day very important for the whole team because we had the opportunity to attend a very real and important, performing tasks that until then some of us had not been able to accomplish, thus causing us to have knowledge of the importance and responsibility of functions of a host of Events. The area of Conferences and Events is a bet the current Tourism Course, part of the Product "Meeting Industry" and is a sub-sector growing, requiring more and more qualified professionals. STARTING THE 2ND HALF It began on the 27th February, the second semester. The works of the two. Stage of ESTIG continue apace, with expected completion by the end of the same year.
