Objectives and Methodology
 

General Objectives

Understanding sports phenomenon and its organization as well as the principles of sports associations, methodology training and sports management, so that they can intervene in the training and development of athletes in training, managing sports facilities, organization of events, and in fostering development of school sports activities and further improvement of associations;

Acquire the skills necessary for the adoption of appropriate procedures for the creation and implementation of learning environments more conducive to teaching and learning in sport;

Knowing the specific effects of exercise on health, and integrate teams plurdisciplinares in the health sector, tackling the disease prevention and recovery;

Develop skills that will lead to the promotion of activities and physical recreation in institutions of social character (homes, ATL's, among others), kindergartens, primary schools, centers and clubs fitness and health (academies, gyms, Health Clubs ), etc. APPCDMs.

Mastering the methods and techniques related to outdoor activities and environmental animation, being able to be active in associations and companies in outdoor activities, parks, municipalities, clubs, schools, among others.

 

Specific Objectives

Train skilled professionals (with scientific and pedagogical component), with multiple experiences in sport, able to recognize the social and cultural role of sport;

Identify and understand organizational structures, the various agencies involved and how different sectors;

Understanding and mastering work processes, operations, methods of organization / management and terminology;

Developing projects appropriate to the needs of the community, according to new job opportunities in the areas of sport, physical activity and recreation;

Being able to streamline and guide activities in associations and companies outdoors, parks, municipalities, clubs, schools, among others, evaluate, and prescribe programs in several specialties sports, direct, organize and promote sports management (spaces and events );

 

Methodologies

In the course of Sport are used different methodologies, guided by the guidelines of the Bologna Process. Different methodologies are used to facilitate the acquisition of learning, which places great emphasis on the practical components of the various courses.
