A degree in Environmental Engineering provides scientific and technological knowledge in the areas of prevention, assessment and pollution control, treatment technologies (eg water, solid waste, soil, air), project exploration and evaluation of the operation of treatment systems, recovery waste and wastewater, environmental quality assessment, and assessment of impacts caused by pollution sources.
Environmental engineers have their labor market businesses, municipalities, laboratories of physical-chemical and microbiological associations, health districts, and consultants and projects.
